How To Make The Patchwork Double Coin Purse
This time, you will need to draw your own pattern, as it’s easy to do it and it can be drawn in any paper A4 (letter size paper).

Once you have your own pattern made on paper, you can cut it out with a pair of scissors to cut paper.
How To Make The Patchwork Block For The Double Coin Purse
You will need to make a patchwork block of 4 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches, you can make this block with any patchwork pattern, I made mine by stitching together strips of fabric, but any pattern will look great.
Cut two pieces of fabric of 2 3/4 x 7 3/4 inches, and stitch on these two pieces of fabric on both sides of the piece made with patchwork, press.
How To Make The Quilting Sandwich for the Patchwork Double Coin Purse
Cut one piece of thin batten fabric of 10 x 12 inches and cut one piece of fabric of the same size.
Lay on your work table the piece of cotton fabric, pretty side down, lay on this piece of fabric the pattern template and pinch two or three pins, with a pencil for fabrics, trace the template on the back of the fabric. Remove the pins and remove the paper template.
Lay on your work table the batten fabric, and lay over it the piece made with patchwork with its pretty side up, lay over it the cotton fabric pretty side down, pinch a few pins to hold the three layers of fabric together while you sew them together on your sewing machine.
Sew on the three pieces of fabric on your sewing machine, leave a gap open to turn the piece out.
With a pair of scissors to cut fabric, trim the piece, leave a seam allowance of 1/4 inch all around.
Cut the corners diagonally and make small cuts in the corners, turn out the piece, tuck in the seams in the open gap and stitch on to close by hand.
After trimming your projet, it should look like this:
How To Quilt The Patchwork Double Coin Purse
This time this project can be quilted by hand or with Free Motion Quilting with your sewing machine.

Lay the quilted piece on your work table, pretty side down, take the two sides up and match them together, pin one pinch on each side to hold the corners together. Stitch on both sides together with small stitches, reinforce the stitching at the beginning and at the end.
Lay the piece on your work table, pretty side down, and take the flat end up and match this end with the first pocket, press the fold with your fingers to mark the fold, open the piece and make a running stitch on the marked fold, reinforce the stitching at the beginning and at the end.
Take the pocket end up to match this pocket with the second pocket, pin two pins to hold the two pockets together, and stitch on both pockets together, reinforce the stitching at the beginning and at the end.
