Make the Friendship Star

You need to make the three lines to make the star. The first step is to fold diagonally one of the four squares of the same color diagonally and lay over on square of fabric (8)

Lay over this piece a square and sew by machine, open this piece and lay another square of fabric and sew by machine, open and press, this will be your first line and you need to make one more line exactly the same as this one.

To make the center line of the star, follow the layout of the pieces on the picture below of the line in the center and make one line. Press.

To make the star, you need to sew one line to the next one by machine and once you sew together the three lines, open and press.

Pinch a few pins and run your sewing machine over the pencil line, don’t forget to leave an open space (1 1/2″) to turn the piece out.

With a needle and thread, close by hand, blind stitches will do.
